Recently my good friend Jen Pelka took a big (but incredibly smart) leap into forming her own PR company called Magnum. I met Jen via the joy of filling my face at Souvla where she is also running the PR show.
One of her lucky clients is Mason Pacific. A new american spot in the Nob Hill neighborhood of San Francisco. It’s a really nice space so I thought i’d ask go take some photos before it opens one afternoon. They were also kind enough to cook me up a beautiful looking meal.
Well designed collateral by Jamie Lee.
Mason Pacific is a casually elegant neighborhood bistro nestled along the cable car line at the intersection of Nob Hill, Russian Hill and Chinatown. Chef Sean McTiernan crafts a seasonal menu of simple, flavorful dishes, creatively elevated through technique and preparation. The wine list features food friendly wines and aims to offer value at every price range, from a simple but delicious rosé, to rare and compelling vintage bottles.
Yup, that’s really a classic Nob Hill view of the Bay bridge.
I’d never seen an octopus being seared before. My octopus naivety did not prepare me for how big they where.
Probably the best thing I’ve smelled come out of a kitchen is this brioche.
